Game Pres. Night

I think my presentation went pretty good i put some final touches on the game tralier. I feel like i have made some sorta accomplishment with this class and game. I plan to take it next sem. I feel passion for the art aspec and flash of this program i really dont care much for wikinig blogging dont bother me that bad
but its still a little weired that its required because im and adult. But the teacher was really well prepared and took it as it saw it and made it kinda fun as far as the whole thing goes so over all i was pretty pleased with it .... Happy Holidays and merry christmas ... and god bless.

I think the interaction im going to try adding to the game will be the rockets that will destory the astorids. Im not to sure yet though and I will prob. also put a start button in and maybe find a way to make to astorids explode.

Update....

I worked a lil more on my game trailer last week it about a good 5min long right now i hope to be able to put a little interaction in with it though to give it a better feel.

This last week i worked more on a prtotype for my game. I managed to make some movment and get pretty much what the game will look like into a flash movie sorta deal. I hope to acutally add some ineraction to it soon.

about the game

Well im getting to the point where im starting to put pieces of the game togeather. I worked for awhile on it and got a astrod to move towards the space craft. I hopefully will have more info on tues about the game i havent really done alot due to the fact i only have access to the flash prog. on tues... so later

a lil about class

Well last class i had i learned how to work with sound which got me interested in finding new sounds for my game. I have looked alot of places but still looking for a certain sound that i havent found yet. So Ill keep u posted and may even post the sound when i find it .. : )

Ok time for some truth!

HEre it is hard and harsh The glboaloria class sucks except for flash dont get me wrong we have an excelent teacher and he has shown us alot. But come on ppl why would i waste my hard earned money on a class that teaches me to BS and wiki all day long. I mean really how is this gonning to help me in my IT field anywhere besides a grade school. Im 27 years old and doing grade school work as far as the "Blogging" and Wiki'ing" so i thought I just tell yall whats up. MORE FLASH PPL COME ON. We are adults not infants we need skillz for tom. Not for 5th grade and up I have a family
which I have to support and need these skillz to help me secure a carrear In something i like to do and wouldnt mind doing on a daily basis. Beside's do any of you ppl read this stupid thing besides matt. Lets focus on skillz and abilities for jobs not for setting at the house bs in about nothing just coming up with random rants. But the flash part i like the rest i hate its excusting and hard to keep up with having our classes. So here it is ....

Hey whats up sorry im kinda late on this its been a hecktic weekend. So far I've done a lil more research on my planetary game and some of the facts im going to include in the game. I havent done many more sketcz yet but i will. Im prob. goin to draw all the graphics in the game including planets and astroids because i dont want any kinda piracy deal on my part and if it turns out good enough maybe i cant copyright and market it.. I dont know just a lil thought im pretty down right now and i need to make cash so im praying that this might be a good opertunity well later...

Game Update

Ok well ive been pretty busy this weekend but managed to get some work done on the game. I been really concentrating on the art work and story line for it and am about done with both. I will soon have some of the art up for you to view. This will be and educational game about our solar system. It will teach kids and maybe some adult about the planets and and gaxlies of our solar system. I went with a 1st person shooter Idea because well most kids like games where you shoot things, I know i did my all time fav game was resident evil. But anyway the name of my game will be BLAST"O"ROID... kinda catchy huh well im out for now.

Poverty -- This effects my coummunity due to the fact that there is no good paying job and mostly everybody around wouldnt take it if there was.

Health -- Health care is a very important thing. The jobs around here usally dont have those kinda benifits unless its teaching or coal mining.

Environment --The environment is in pretty bad shape everywhere due to strip jobs and toxins in the air.

Education -- Education is also very important I know this now. For if you dont have an education you have to work under someone else but if you do you can pretty much control what money you make.

About the game

Ok I think im gonna still with my orginal Idea as far as the game goes. The only diff
will be Im going to try to make everything 3-D and instead of the old space intruders game this one you will shoot and blow up astriods in ordewr to make it to the next level. As you level up you will pass various planets and learn a lil about them. However if you should happen to die you will learn facts about comets and other thing in space.. This is goning to be a pretty big task for me but i beleive I'll acomplish it. The make of the game like i said before will be completely 3D. At the begining of the game It will have a 3rd person view introduction and then it will go straight to 1st person view. As your looking out you space ships window you will have to dodge and shoot anythin that con compromise your ship and strive to get to the next level as for the end Im still workingon that one but it should be good.. ok thats really all I got so far so check it out

Hey sorry I've been busy thisweekend craming for a test Tues. But im really excited about Globaloria class for tues night.
I hope i can learn more and be able to show you all some better skillz than i have so far. But its just like a baby gotta crawl

Yes I know its kiddish and i know prob not wat a college dude should be doing But I worked my butt off on this thing. I had less trouble with getting the button to work than anything. I acuttally drew humpty both togeather and cracked. I picked up on the navigaition thing pretty quick. Id like to have this program so I could work more on it at home but i dont maybe in the near future. Also the text and video on myGlife.org helped a whole lot. Well i hope i gave you some insight to what ive done with this. I worked really hard on it so I hope you enjoy it.

Well i have to say the g life class is staring to be pretty cool.I like the thingabout flash the most its pretty awsome to be able to come up with somthing in your mind then make it move across the screen. Also it fun o start playing with photoshop again i use to be good at it back in the day but lost all of that when i said i do and picked up a shovel. but imm glad i decied to go back to school i tink the pay off will be great this time later....

Hey sup wat It b cuz. I have ta say tuesdayz class kinda interesting learned more about the Globaloris class, played some games, the games had some perrty cool topics about our social issues today. I think that its pretty cool where making a movement to improve education for younger children. The game idea was a really good way to go I know cuz my 3y old iz always glued to his DS. I cant lie either i was most of my child /teen life to still play ps3 eva now and then. The flash thing pretty awsome i was pshykt to be able to move a ball across a screen as far asmy development issues go .. yea datz gonna b awhile. Im kinda look forward to programming and dreading at da same time cuz i know like eva thing else it prob. pretty advanaced by now. The flash how eva im looking forward to learning more also same wit photoshop. I say to all ppl who read diz tech is the thing so get on board cuz itz advanacing eva day. But I totally recomend you play with flash or take a class or sumthin, cauz its sumthin that u can use your imagination with build your's animation dream's.. but ive rambled enough also check out da pool table.... what i want to learn..

I would like to learn more about 3D graphics and animation. I have had alot of experience with photoshop but that was back in the day. I am pretty sure this class will give me the edge I need
to complete a program for my own storyline of a game I've dreamed of for years. I hope to lern little ways of putting all the pieces of this dream togeather. I am possitive that this class is the gateway if you will to the begining of building this project. Im also glade to be working with a team so I can learn new ideas and share my own. So with that being said im out ! : )

what I think ill learn

I think ill learn more about programing and more about code. I also and pretty excited to learn more about photoshop and Flash. I have no clue about flash but really wanted to play around with it for awhile now. I think ill learn more comunication skills and see what its like to work in an enviorment with computers again. Also i think ill learn more about storylines and how to make my own better. Also about skpye and how to blog which im doing now.. and thats about it...
